Earthstage: Palau Edition | Terms of Use

Earthstage is a hand-curated archive designed to support independent inquiry into complex and contested subjects.

This project began as a working library I built during the early emergence of hydraulic fracturing in upstate New York, where individuals were asked to make decisions based on conflicting claims and incomplete information. It has since grown into a broader effort to gather and organize real materials—across sources and over time—so that patterns, contradictions, and historical context can be more clearly seen.

Use of Materials

Content on this site may include excerpts from articles, public statements, archival captures, and other source materials.

These materials are presented for purposes of commentary, research, and contextual understanding. Wherever possible, links are provided to original sources or archival versions.

Earthstage does not claim ownership of third-party content. Materials are used in a limited and selective manner to support the project’s goal of enabling readers to engage directly with complex issues.

In some cases, source materials may no longer be available at their original locations. Pages on this site may preserve partial excerpts or references to such materials as they were captured at a particular moment in time.

Nature of the Archive

This site is not a comprehensive repository of any single source.
It is a structured collection of fragments, references, and original writing intended to support exploration rather than provide definitive accounts.

Individual pages may vary in form:

  • some present original commentary
  • some gather multiple sources
  • some preserve excerpts or primary materials

Where appropriate, editorial notes may be added to clarify the nature or completeness of the material.

External Links

This site contains links to external websites and archives.
These are provided as pathways for further exploration. Earthstage is not responsible for the content or availability of external resources.

Takedown Requests

Earthstage respects the rights of content creators and publishers.

If you are a rights holder and believe that material on this site has been used in a way that exceeds appropriate use, please contact us with:

  • the URL of the page in question
  • identification of the material
  • a description of your concern

We will review requests promptly and, where appropriate, remove or modify the material.

Non-Commercial Nature

Earthstage does not charge users to access content and does not host advertising.

The project may seek support to sustain its operation, but its primary purpose is public access to curated materials and the development of a framework for working through complex subjects using real sources.

Acceptance of Terms

By using this site, you acknowledge the nature of the archive and agree to these terms. Last updated: May 2026.
